Comiket 97 took place from December 28th to the 31st, and I was there one of the days, to capture part of it!

It was honestly a short con for me, arriving rather late and leaving not long after that. I believe this was the first ticketed Comiket in a long time. I paid 1000 yen to enter for the day, but I believe there were earlier deals prior to that. The whole ticketing line and purchase took about 45 minutes, and that was around 2pm!

The huge crowds were rather bothersome this time around, I’m not sure why. Definitely a con to avoid if you don’t like crowds. I wonder how long this lining up system in designated areas will last before they set up more semi-permanent spots? It’s always a nightmare trying to get into areas, always takes the long way around, though I can understand why.

Having said that, that was my last con of the decade! : O
